Job Description:

Our client in the chemical manufacturing industry is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Packaging department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Job Title: Packaging OperatorLocation: St. Louis, MOWhat's the Job?Stage, fill, cap, label, and over pack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products per approved packaging specifications and according to safety and quality protocols.Complete appropriate packaging documentation per FDA, ISO, and GMP procedures and deliver products to inventory.Fill, cap, and label chemical products.Use electronic balances to properly weigh materials.Manually fill liquids or powders.Set up and utilize semi-automated equipment to fill liquids or powders.Perform routine cleaning to semi-automated equipment.Perform fills in environmentally controlled areas.Fill hazardous products.Utilize pumps to transfer bulk solutions.Filter bulk materials using pumps and in-line filters or vacuum filters.Manually torque caps with wrenches.Set up and operate semi-automated cappers.Hand label as necessary.Set up and operate automated labelers.Assist with loading bottles and pack-off during fill line operations.Pack kits according to procedures.Use material handling equipment safely to transport materials throughout the building.Clean laboratory glassware and batch tanks.Follow all quality and safety procedures.Support quality systems.Follow safety procedures at all times.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.What's in it for me?Competitive pay and shift differential.Career growth opportunities.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
