Join us and reach your higher purpose at Cargill.This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.**Job Type** : Hourly**Shift:** 5:45 pm - 5:45 am / 4 on 4 off 12 hours shift**Compensation** : $29 with a shift differential of $0.50**Benefits:**- Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ Life/ Disability Insurance- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)- Cargill retirement plans- Comprehensive employee assistance resources- Vacation based on years of service- Paid personal days- PPE allowance**Principal Accountabilities:**- Responsible for the operation and inspections of forklift and unloading dock related equipment- Operator care and preventative maintenance of packaging and palletizer equipment not covered by maintenance team- Must learn and apply all applicable Standard Operating Procedures related to Safety, FSQR and Processing- Responsible to perform and document completion of assigned Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks- Comply to company's Good Manufacturing Practices at all times- Know and understand finished product names and characteristics- Clean, organize, and maintain work areas- Constructively communicate with coworkers, customers, vendors, and contractors- Perform tasks in a safe manner that will prevent injury to self and others- Performs work in a cooperative, courteous, and efficient manner- Must learn and perform applicable SAP and MII functions- Must understand and abide by ST. Clair Union Contract and Employee Production Handbook- Performs other related duties assigned by supervision, management, and lead Persons**Requirements:**- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment- Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)- High School diploma or Equivalent- Basic use of a computer- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice**Preferred:**+ Prior experience in production related work.+ Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAPEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
