The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment, ensuring products are packaged according to quality standards, and contributing to the efficient operation of the packaging line.Rate: $21/hrShift: 4/10s 7a-3p, working either Monday - Thursday or Tuesday-FridayKey Responsibilities:Operation of packaging and bagging machines to fill finished products into bags and sacks for shipment.Move materials from production to the warehouse using forklift for shipping.Load bags/sacks onto pallets for shipment.Quality Control: Inspect packaged products for defects, ensuring that they meet company standards. Remove any defective products from the line and report issues to supervisors.Material Handling: Load packaging materials into machines and ensure a continuous supply for production. Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and notify supervisors when reordering is necessary.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment.Ability to operate and maintain packaging machinery.Forklift experience is highly preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.TWIC card is required; if you don't currently have one, you must meet the qualifications to obtain it.Work Environment:Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise and moving equipment.Physical demands include lifting and moving materials, standing, and repetitive motions.Sirius Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
