Flexibility is required, as applicants must be available for overtime and periodically work 1st Shift hours based on business needs.Essential Job Functions:
- Production & Packaging: Hand sorting, case packing, stacking pallets, and replenishing supplies.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on all materials, ingredients, and finished products.
- Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Sanitation: Execute daily and monthly sanitation tasks in production and packaging areas, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulations.
- Documentation: Ensure that all work in the packaging area meets the requirements of process quality, compliance quality, food safety, and general safety programs.
- Training & Development: Learn new methods and assist in training others as processes evolve.

- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently.

- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform tasks involving bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Work comfortably in varying temperature environments, such as freezers or near ovens.
Attention to Detail:
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor products for defects, ensuring only compliant products are packaged and shipped.
- Conduct quality checks at regular intervals to maintain high standards.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous food processing experience is preferred.
- Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift when required and willing to work overtime.
- Must be able to lift 50-pound bags throughout an 8-hour day.
- Candidates must successfully complete a background check, chemical drug screen, and reference check in accordance with State and Federal guidelines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:As a member of the Packaging Team, you will be exposed to various physical demands, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, bending, twisting, squatting, and using tools and equipment. Team members stand and walk on concrete while wearing steel-toed shoes, company-provided uniforms, hair nets, bump caps, gloves, and safety glasses.
