What You'll Be Doing as a Packaging Specialist 1: Performs a variety of duties of simple/moderate complexity necessary to assemble and package Mount Systems and Accessories into final products for internal and external customers.
  • Understands, supports, assembles and packages product according to established business processes.
  • Installs various parts, assembles product and packages per work instructions.
  • Operates glue dispensers to prep and assemble parts per work instructions.
  • Operates presses, torque wrenches and other tools as required per work instructions
  • Assembles simple dials, per work instructions, to support assembly manufacturing
  • Support Safety measures, Ensure Quality product to customers, and support a 5S workspace.
  • Follows workflow processes, including one piece flow.
  • Ownership and deliverance of our core values to our internal teams and external customers.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Skills and Experiences You'll Need as a Packaging Specialist 1:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of similar production experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
  • Able to read, understand and follow work instructions consistently.
  • Effective verbal communications skills.
  • Correctly fill out data sheets; may be required to do simple math calculations.
  • Able to manipulate small parts into clean assemblies
  • Able to visually identify defects of parts and or finished products.
  • Ability to work independently
Work Environment: Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods. Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance.
