Overview
The Warehouse Packaging Specialist processes internal and third-party products. This individual packages products to be placed in storage until delivery, ensuring that all internal data is correctly associated with each product is of the highest priority for this position. This individual works with a wide variety of products from across the state of Oregon on a daily basis using the OLCC seed to sale tracking Metrc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Third party processing Cross references intake sheet information for accuracy, compares the packaging to Metrc for compliance, breaks down 3rd party items into specified master packs, re-Metrc tags each item and packages them with appropriate labeling to be distributed
- Processes Supplemental/Special requests, to include same day processing of special orders
- Quality assurance checks ensure that packaged product has the correct quantity, is not damaged, leaking or broken, and is labeled properly.
- Compliance checks ensure that packaged product has an associated Metrc tag, proper lab testing, required label information and that potency amounts do not exceed OLCC requirements.
- Communication let team members know of any inconsistencies in packaging or any questionable products to ensure we do not ship noncompliant goods.
- Workspace cleanliness allows time to ensure that area is free of debris, Metrc tags, medicated product and other packaging materials before leaving the facility.
- Assisting the Lab Manager/Asst. Production Manager with miscellaneous projects the warehouse packaging team should always be ready for random/miscellaneous projects that come through the warehouse. This can come in the form of re-packaging projects, organizational project and time sensitive requested deliveries.
- Storage & processing of packaging items
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Production experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Metrc preferred
- Must be able to accurately perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
- Valid OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit or ability to obtain prior to beginning work with the company
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with team members
- Must be able to work around/with cannabis product
- Must be able to work weekends

Warehouse environment:
- This position is in a general warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise.
- Frequently stand and/or sit for 6+ hours at a time.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, in multi-temperature environments ranging from 60F to 100F.
- Consistently around plant material, working with hands
