Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Packaging Supervisor for their manufacturing facility in the Macon, GA area. This is an excellent company with great benefits and room for professional growth. Pay will be based on experience and previous pay history.
Duties include:
• Supervising packaging and shipping facilities.
• Supervising hourly production employees meeting production and shipping goals in a safe and efficient manner.
• Directing shift maintenance activities and handling appropriate assignment of production labor.
• Execution of the packaging and shipping schedule.
Qualifications:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years working knowledge of shipping process capabilities; the types of products to be shipped and general knowledge of equipment.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to quickly address and resolve equipment and people issues.
• Must understand order system and shipping schedule.
• Must have basic computer skills to include Word, Excel and data entry.
