We are in a significant growth mode and it's an exciting time to be joining our business!WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: The Packaging Systems Engineer will be passionate about designing Packaging Systems. This person will be conducting the hands-on design of various packaging systems within a manufacturing environment. You will be working with cross discipline teams to support the design, review and implementation of various packaging systems that receive finished goods from the manufacturing line. YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be excited by opportunities to add value to our clients with Jedson's engineering expertise. Strong communication skills, collaboration and courage to challenge the status quo are cornerstones of the Jedson Edge. B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in the food and/or beverage industries, preferred. Background in packaging systems and delivery of projects in the food and/or beverage industries Machine Design Background, preferred. Understanding of feeding/starving and runout of pieces of equipment, and where/when to put in accumulation. Material flows/people flow etc. AutoCAD (2D, 3D CAD experience Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, NX). Understanding of multi-discipline (electrical, process, PC&IS knowledge) Great customer relationship skills/management experience. Preferably on-site, in plant, and startup experience#LI-JH1#LI-Hybrid
