Packaging Technician - Wilmington, North Carolina DISHER is currently partnering with one of the largest functional beverage manufacturers in America, offering a diverse portfolio of organic, private label, functional beverages for top global retailers. They are currently searching for a first shift Packaging Technician to add to their team in Wilmington, North Carolina.     • Adhere to company safety policies, including conducting safety inspections and reporting hazards immediately.
    • Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.
    • Follow proper documentation practices and complete all relevant paperwork.
    • Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of packaging lines and operate equipment such as depalletizers, fillers, and case packers.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the plant and workspace between machine cycles.
    • Ensure products meet quality standards and perform case flavor mixing as needed.
    • Clean, lubricate, and inspect equipment, ensuring it operates at established standards.
    • Operate cleaning equipment and participate in routine and deep cleaning of the facility.
    • Follow GMP and SQF policies regarding food safety, allergen management, and sanitation.
    • Report any food safety or quality issues to the Quality Assurance Manager for investigation and corrective action.
What will make you successful:
    • Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
    • Ability to read, write, and complete basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication
    • Basic computer skills required
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Heightened awareness of safety precautions and hazards for self and others
    • Ability to positively work with a team to achieve production goals
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
    • Extended shifts, overtime, and weekends may be needed based on business

    • High school diploma or GED required
