Job Description:
HTI is seeking experienced Packaging Technicians with a well-known food manufacturer specializing in baked goods. This position will be focused on operating and maintaining automated packaging equipment. These positions are Direct Hire on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, 40-60hrs a week. The pay range is $22/hr - $25/hr depending on experience. *Applicants will be required to sit for the Ramsay Mechanical assessment before interviewing*What They Offer:

What You Need:
  • A vocational or associate degree in a manufacturing or related technical field is a plus
  • Manufacturing: 4 years
  • Automation Packaging: 2 years
  • Previous experience in an automated manufacturing facility utilizing TPM, AM, or similar CI principles
What Your Role Will Look Like: The Packaging Technician provides ownership of assigned equipment as an operator, maintenance technician, and continuous improvement champion of automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Adherence to and development of standards and centerlines.
  • A thorough understanding of equipment operation, including control devices and their associated product transformations.
  • Continuous monitor machine operation to determine trends or defects affecting safety, quality, or performance and proactively react to resolve them.
  • Communication with Maintenance and Quality to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Provide basic maintenance functions including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.
  • Provide more advanced maintenance functions as skill and experience allow.
  • Conduct line changeover activities.
  • Provide direct support of Sanitation activities.
  • Assist Maintenance team in troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Take part in RCFA and other CI activities and be a member of resultant Process Improvement Teams (PIT).
