Position Title: PackerDepartment: Machine ShopLocation: Fenton, MOReports To: Machine Shop SupervisorClassification: Hourly - Non-ExemptTypical Hours: 1st Shift - (Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm)Position Summary:This position is responsible for inspecting, washing, de-burring, packing, labeling, and boxing various machine shop parts. PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes are required at all times. Due to possible sharp parts, finger wrapping is suggested. Due to washing solution, a mask and gloves are also suggested.Essential Job Duties:Inspect parts and wash parts in appropriate solution.De-burr parts as needed.Pack, label, and box various machine shop parts.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Document actions by completing production and quality forms.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Required Experience/Skills:Basic Math skillsAttention to detailExcellent visionGood eye-hand coordinationGood dexterityQuality focusedSafety focusedAbility to use testing equipmentDesired Experience/Skills:Ability to lift 35 lbs.About Control Devices, LLC:Control Devices, LLC ( Control Devices or CD ) is a leading designer & manufacturer of high-quality flow control valves, condensate removal traps, related components & accessories serving the compressed air, pressure washer, vehicle systems, fire protection, specialty gas, & the industrial, agricultural & food service float valve markets.
