Purpose and Scope The Extrusion Packer is responsible for the packing of extruded product.
Responsibilities: - Inspect completed product for function, quality and conformance to detail sheet and control plan specifications.
- Prepare product for shipping including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling product.
- Operates production machines, machine tools and equipment used to coil, flare, and punch parts per specifications.
- Work independently and in teams to ensure a quality product.
- Cleaning the work area and production equipment.
- Follow ISO proceduresOrganization and Relationships
The Extrusion Packer reports to their assigned Lead/Manager.
Required Skills You'll Use Every Day To qualify for the Extrusion Packer position, the candidate is required to have:
- Demonstrated skills for the position
- Proven basic math skills.
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
Training Requirements The Extrusion Packer is required to complete training exercises in, or demonstrate a working knowledge of:
- On-the-job training in the Extrusion Department.
- Must maintain fully satisfactory production performance levels.
- ISO procedures, Work Instructions and Quality Policy.
