This role is vital in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Packer/Food Safety Tech, you will have multiple different responsibilities throughout your shift which will be different day to day. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and ensuring the overall quality of our products. We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule. As a Full-Time Packer/Food Safety Tech, you would work between 40-50 hours per week and be eligible to receive full benefits including health insurance, dental and vision, retirement benefits including 401(k) with company contribution, plus more. It's a physical job! While all are welcome to apply, understand that you will be on your feet the entirety of your shift. We're seeking individuals who are flexible, committed, and safety-focused. Because this role is a muti position role, there are multiple different jobs included in one with different pay rates for each. Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Packer/Utility support:

  • Construct boxes and pack them manually or with the help of automated machines.
  • Perform regular bag quality checks to ensure product standards.
  • Prepare and conduct dry wipes/wet washes on manufacturing equipment during the changeover process.
  • Maintain housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required.
  • Assist with troubleshooting case erector faults as needed.
Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Food Safety Tech (FST):
  • Lead and execute the changeover process to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
  • Perform seasoning accumulation checks and clean as necessary.
  • Take ownership of Product Safety Management (PSM) inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor product flow to ensure food safety and quality by staying vigilant and proactive in identifying any potential food safety risks or quality issues.
  • Work with mild chemicals as part of the cleaning and sanitation process.
  • Bend, crouch, and work in very tight spaces to clean machinery effectively for extended periods of time
Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Sanitor:
  • Cleaning the equipment necessary for manufacturing products when production is down
  • Detailed cleaning of equipment with provided tools, including scrub pads, brushes, picks and paper towels
  • Utilize ladders to work at heights
  • Inspecting equipment with a flashlight to verify successful cleaning

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
