Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Packer is responsible for maintaining the flow of incoming egg production by palletizing egg boxes or egg flats safely and securely to ensure safe loading into semi-trailer for their transportation. Essential Job Functions:
- Packs salable eggs on racks, pallets or in boxes in relation to daily production demands.
- Pulls damaged eggs from cartons and or flats, and replaces them with clean, undamaged and proper sized eggs.
- Pulls dirty eggs from cartons and or flats to be re-washed, replacing them with clean, undamaged and proper sized eggs.
- Places finished product boxes on appropriate pallet as they come through the machine.
- Must maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and productive work area. This involves the cleaning up of egg spillage on the floor, or on the machines and properly disposing of any waste and garbage as needed.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Cleans and sanitizes work area before end of each day.
- Keeps a steady pace on packaging line.
- Helps others where needed.
- Adheres to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long period of time.
- Able to bend, lift and twist on different surfaces, including concrete.
