Position Description:SummarySafely and effectively packs finished goods and prepares product for shipment.Schedule NeedsDay Shift = 7am-7pmTransportation provided to worksite!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs into the appropriate packaging.Replacement of adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machineryQuickly notifies operator and/or supervisor of quality issues as they ariseEnsure that any finished goods or work in progress identification labels are present and placed in the correct positionStacks finished product in correct configuration, ready for transportationResponsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidyPromptly inform supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality and efficienciesFollows all Company established rules and policies; Adheres to all Safety rules and regulationsCompletes paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerSupervisor Responsibility:NoneCompetencies:Interpersonal skills, oral communication, teamwork, judgement, motivations, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiativeEducation and/or Experience:Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred; Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essentialLanguage Skills:English; Spanish helpfulMathematical Skills:BasicComputer Skills:NonePhysical Demand:Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, lifting up to 30 lbs, pushing, pulling, carrying, and reaching,Work Environment:Loud, humid, extreme heat (depending on season) dusty, fumesCompensation details:15-15 Hourly WagePI37d65fa44ce2-35216-#######0
