Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Maintains compliance with Company and plant safety policies and procedures. Completes all annual training as required. Read and comprehend S.O. folders, ensuring product is correct per S.O. instruction -dimensions, configuration, bow in tolerance, and acceptable surface appearance. Accurately use callipers, protractors and other measuring devices to inspect parts. Moves scrap and re-grind material accurately. Finished goods packaging. Ensure finished goods are properly labelled, tagged and transferred to the warehouse on correct pallets. Packaging and Material areas are clean and organized, all garbage is emptied. Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) during the entire shift, to include: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety footwear, etc. Ensure effective communication with Operators and Leads within current and next shift. Other duties as assigned by management team.Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent preferred Entry level position. Prior experience in production environment helpful but not required. Above average communication skills, both written and verbal Able to perform basic mathematical computations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to work overtime as neededPhysical Demands: Moving and lifting objects up to 50 lbs Walking, standing and otherwise perform job functions on concrete floors with safety boots/shoes. Occasional repetitive movementsWork Environment: Works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Climate may be cold or hot depending on outside temperature.
