**Shift:** Day shift position 7:00am to 3:00pm, with rotating swing shift every 30 days (3:00pm-11:00pm)
**Pay:** $20.00/hour
**What's the Job?**
As a member of the team, the main role of the Packer is to support Operator A and all operations related to the production operations at the site. This position will support in other areas in the plant directly reporting into the Site Manager.
+ Follows all company and OSHA safety policies, procedures, and programs; is responsible for individual safety and the safety of others.
+ Operates all necessary equipment related to production staging, and observe/operate heavy equipment
+ Ability to operate a forklift and water truck. Performs inspections on mobile equipment.
+ Unloads and Loads finished products and raw materials from trucks throughout shift.
+ Operates water truck throughout the day for dust control.
+ Responsible for cycle counts of raw and finished good on a monthly basis.
+ Responsible to confirm truck weight is within legal weight limits and make adjustments if not.
+ Removes finished product from the production line and shrink-wraps each pallet with the appropriate bag then adds labels, lot codes, and etc. then stacks in warehouse or yard area.
+ Supplies the production line with pallets, bags and wrapping material to complete production process.
+ Assists shipping and receiving by checking in and out trucks in the system (SAP) as necessary.
+ Inspects raw materials prior to changeovers to ensure correct inventories for production runs. Returns raw materials after completion of production runs, if needed.
+ Provide production support by wrapping pallets and ability to use a forklift to move product to the correct storage locations
+ Accountable for administration of operational processes for all production, forklift inspections, work orders, incident reports, reporting equipment defects and any other processes in the production operation.
+ Communicates with previous or incoming shift regarding any challenges and opportunities on the production lines to prepare for the shift.
+ Operates equipment and/or drives on site to assist with production operation such as forklift, heavy equipment, palletizer, etc.
+ Maintain a clean work area, fill hoppers for production with appropriate raw materials, use equipment to push out barney dumps, and back drag all truck pathways to make onsite roads are smooth.
+ Ability to hand-stack 50 lbs bags when needed for reworks as needed
**Internal Controls Responsibility:** Internal controls are a vital part of the duties and responsibilities of this job. As part of training for this position, the person in this role is required to read the procedures and sign off that they have read and understand the duties / responsibilities with respect to internal controls.

**What do you bring?**
+ High School/GED diploma, preferred.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment as an operator
+ Knowledge of plant manufacturing in an industrial maintenance experience in 24 hr continuous process environment.
+ Strong customer service focus, teaming and collaborative approach
+ Flexible and open-minded with good written and oral communication.
