Job Title: PackerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The role involves packaging and labeling products, preparing skids for shipment, and ensuring the accuracy of orders for both domestic and international shipping. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPackage and label products.Prepare skids of products for shipment.Prepare products for domestic and international shipping.Pull orders to prepare skids.Verify the accuracy of products selected and labels before shipping.Select orders primarily by hand and move with electric pallet jacks.Handle shipping and receiving tasks.Blend inks as directed by the Production Supervisor.Report potential safety hazards.Make ink deliveries in the company truck.Keep all areas of the facility neat and orderly.Essential SkillsExperience with inventory, packaging, shipping and receiving, logistics, loading, order picking/packing, and using an electric pallet jack.At least 1 year of experience working in shipping for a manufacturing or distribution center.Experience handling domestic and international shipments working with LTL carriers, UPS, and FedEx.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Attention to detail and basic math skills to ensure order accuracy.Experience with Windows-based shipping systems and Excel for preparing and tracking shipping documents.Ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrive for results with a proactive approach to work.Ability to meet production goals with speed and accuracy.Excellent attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Accountability and dependability (attendance).Ability to operate machinery with minimal supervision.Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, meet goals & objectives.Why Work Here?Join a company with over 150 years of experience providing high-quality, customer-oriented solutions. The shift is from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am, Sunday night through Thursday night, with training provided on the day shift.
