Job DetailsJob LocationGBDC - Fulton, NYSalary Range$16.00 HourlyDescriptionPosition Summary:The Packing Associate packs all Direct, Wholesale, International and MacKenzie-Child's Retail Store orders and prepares orders for shipment.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)85% Pack and prepare orders for shipment ensuring proper box and packing materials are used to prevent damage.5% Restock packing materials as needed to ensure productive workflow.10% Perform other duties, as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsEducation and Experience:* High school diploma or GEDSpecial Requirements:* Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs.Location: Fulton, NYKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.* Excellent attention to detail.* Ability to read and interpret paperwork.* Maintain consistent, dependable attendanceEquipment Used:Safety Equipment: Safety shoesPhysical and Mental Requirements:* Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.* Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.* Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities.
