Keymark is interviewing and hiring a 2nd Shift Packing Foreman for the manufacturing warehouse and production line in Fonda, NY.

2nd Shift Schedule:

• Wednesday - Saturday
• Wednesday, 11pm - 5am
• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 5pm - 5am

Scope of Work:

The Packing Foreman is responsible for ensuring all Packing Loaders and Packer Line 2 employees are packing material correctly and answering questions from the Packing Loaders/Packer Line 2 employees.

This recruitment is for the second shift which includes base hourly pay with starting range between $19 - $24/hr depending on your experience plus $1.50 shift differential pay.

You will have serious earning potential and internal promotion opportunities with Keymark. It all adds up - The annual average ranges from $39,520 - $49,920 + possible earnings per year. The starting hourly pay range is $19 - $24/hr dependent on experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Locate material needed for trucks
• Make tickets using the proper packing codes
• Ensure all material is being packed write and sign packing tickets
• Answer any questions
• Report any questions, concerns, or problems to the Packing Manager
• Ensure all tape measures are handed out and collected each shift
• Ensure the department runs smoothly
• Handle any employee problems as efficiently as possible
• Assist Packing Loaders and Packer Line 2 employees as needed

Skills and Aptitudes:

• Basic computer use and knowledge
• Ability to read and follow directions/paperwork
• Ability to be a leader and work well with others
• Ability to use tape measures
• Problem solve on how to improve packing
• Problem solve on how to arrange pallets so they are neat and square
• Problem solve on how to get truck material to stations as quickly as possible

Working Conditions:

• Keymark operates in a manufacturing environment. Proper PPE must be worn at all times (to include hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes).
