Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Pads Transformer Assembler - 3rd Shift. .The hourly rate for this position is $17.50 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:Job SummaryExecute final assembly operations for electricity transformers in accordance with established standard methods and procedures.Job Responsibilities • Perform tasks across various work centers, including tank-up, casing, small parts, vacuum chamber, cover welding, painting, palletizing, final assembly, and testing.• Attach and install component parts and sub-assemblies onto transformer tanks (e.g., leads, bushings, brackets, fuses, switches, nameplates, arrestors, labels, stencils, bands).• Place and anchor core/coil assemblies into tanks.• Execute repetitive hand assembly, fitting, and adjustment operations.• Retrieve and weld covers as needed.• Load, operate, and unload the vacuum system.• Use small power hand tools as required.• Perform touch-up paint on tanks when necessary.• Address any nonconforming parts or products through rework.• Oversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to guarantee the safe deactivation and isolation of equipment, ensuring energy control procedures are correctly applied to prevent inadvertent machine startup or hazardous energy discharge during repair or maintenance, in line with OSHA regulations and organizational safety guidelines.• Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility. Adheres to safety protocols and ensures efficient material handling.• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.• Adhere to safety protocols, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
