Precision Care Medical & Sports Performance is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing outpatient private practice.

Precision Care Medical & Sports Performance is a full-service physical medicine and pain management practice with offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Our team of board-certified doctors and therapists provides personalized care and nonsurgical treatment options for all types of musculoskeletal conditions, emphasizing corrective exercises and utilizing the latest rehabilitative technology.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pain Medicine Physician. The Pain Medicine Physician will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations and non-surgical interventional procedures, as well as managing patient care and treatment plans. The role will also involve working collaboratively with our team of physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists.

Responsibilities:

Evaluation & management of musculoskeletal conditions

Order imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT)

Perform EMG/NCV

Prescribe PT/OT

Perform procedures such as peripheral joint injections (corticosteroids, viscosupplementation, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)), Neuraxial injections (ESI, MBB, RFA), Spinal Cord Stimulation trial

In-office procedural suite (C-arm, RFA generator, Ultrasound)

Medication management to include non-opioid medications

Monday to Friday. No nights, no calls, no weekends.

Qualifications

  • PM&R and Pain Management skills
  • Experience in Spine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Active and unrestricted medical license
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Experience with interventional pain procedures and EMR software (preferred)
  • Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program with an ACGME accredited Pain Fellowship Training
  • New York State License
