At Siemens Gamesa we make real what matters, join our global team.Position Overview:+ Perform all painting preparations and applications to blades for delivery to customers.+ Relocation will not be offered for this roleResponsibilities:+ Receive and perform work assignments, oral and/or written and follow work instructions.+ Operate blade handling equipment as needed.+ Document painting application as required.+ Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts per accepted Siemens or industry standards.+ Set up, operate, and maintain painting application equipment per work instructions.+ Perform visual inspections as required.+ Work with or under the direction of managers and engineers.+ Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations.+ Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures.+ Provide technical direction to other employees as required.+ Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition.+ Assist and apply team concepts in daily activities.Required Knowledge, Skills, Education andExperience:+ The employee must certify on the painting requirements and specifications.+ Within the qualifying period, the employee must complete the required equipment specific training requirements and process applications.+ Acquire forklift and crane license.+ High School Diploma or equivalent+ Passing score on General Aptitude test.+ Previous paint application experience preferred.+ Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
