Position: Paint Line Operator - Night Shift Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the application of paint products in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Application of paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications/requirements.
* Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements.
* Able to use paint spray equipment, sanding equipment, and various hand tools.
* Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment.
* Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
* Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product or equipment.
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
* Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.
* Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* 1+ years of prior work experience in related field
* Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
* Familiarity with HVLP and/or electrostatic guns, pressure pots, and proportioners is a plus.
* Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills
* OR-
* An acceptable combination of education and experience
Physical Demands of Position
* This position requires walking and standing to a significant degree.
* This position requires working in tight spaces with areas less than 30 possible.
* Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
* Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
* Certain products may require laying on the floor in order to paint correctly.
* Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
* Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for most activities.
* Visual acuity is required to inspect work before and after completion.
* This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions.
