We are looking for a highly motivated Automotive Painter to work on the most progressive products in the world. This position will be supporting the Tesla's Paint shop located in Lathrop, CA. - Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times, including escalations of equipment and process failures to appropriate support groups and leaders
- Operate electrostatic powder spray guns and related equipment safely and efficiently including the proper use of PAPR
- Perform surface preperation work, masking and plugging
- Inspect parts for quality defects before and after coating
- Determine if surface is ready to be painted
Requirements - 1+ years of experience in industrial paint, collision center, body shop as a painter using liquid or powder coatings
- Knowledge on rework or reprocess of painted products
- An understanding of common defects, what causes paint failures and how to correct them
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to work within an alternative work schedule and adapt to sudden changes
- Able to perform physical work for extended periods of times, up to 12 hours per day

Expected Compensation $25.88 - $28.80/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
