Job Description Prime Coat Sprayer: $18.00 - $22.00 Top Coat Sprayer: $18.00 - $23.00 Basic Skills Requirements: *** Spray Painting experience required *** • Know how to identify wood species (Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory) • Possess proper skills in handling spray gun, air/fluid pressures, and manual dexterity • Great attention to detail and consistent job performance • Know quality standards, how to identify defects, and ability to repair product • Identify Cabinet/Trim Identification tags, finish codes, and finish options • Able to mix finish material as needed, test prior to use, and match colors • Understand staining and sanding techniques • How to work safely to protect self and co-workers Work Instructions: • Spray paint/topcoat online & offline • Check material Viscosity • Maintain Guns • Replace Booth filters • Ensure pumps and agitators are properly oiled • When not spraying online, report to supervisor for assignment Quality Control Checks: 1. Visually inspect parts for damage (cracks, dents, chips, color defects) 2. Check color codes to ensure the correct part is being stained 3. Matching product to color standards Job Safety Guidelines: 1. Environmental Exposure. A. Organic vapors B. Controls: Booth has exhaust, organic vapor masks are available upon request (not required to be worn). Additionally, lids are required to be on all containers (buckets, drums, bottles, etc. 2. Job Function & Positions. A. Bending, lifting, push, pull, squat, and grasping B. Controls: use proper lifting techniques, use mechanical lifting devices to move carts. 3. Physical Demands. A. Standing, walking, and lifting up to 30lbs. B. Controls: use proper lifting technique and use lifting devices; take allotted breaks.
