The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking a Painter to join the team! Nestled in the vibrant heart of New Orleans, The Roosevelt New Orleans is a true iconic symbol of elegance and grandeur. Our luxury hotel offers an unparalleled combination of Southern hospitality, world-class service and historic surroundings. As the centerpiece of the city, the hotel is located near the French Quarter and within walking distance to the city's most vibrant attractions and entertainment, including Jackson Square, Bourbon Street and the Arts & Warehouse District.This historic hotel features 504 rooms, over 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and five (5) food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 restaurants, a café, seasonal rooftop bar, and in-room dining.What will I be doing?In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repair painted, wall covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, furniture and equipment throughout the facility in order to project a neat and well-maintained appearance.Installs and repairs covered wall and ceiling surfaces throughout the facility. Hangs vinyl, paper, fabric and foil wall coverings of various weights.Maintains and repairs caulked, grouted and masonry surfaces throughout the facility. CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
