ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs general painting and takes care of painting tools.
- Performs general electrical repairs and modifications, general plumbing repairs and modification, and general carpentry.
- Assists with all aspects of landscaping.
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections of all facility - related equipment and systems; makes repairs and adjustments as necessary.
- Keeps the supervisor informed of any problems or issues.
- Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position's supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Good verbal/written communication, problem-solving, and math skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, documents, and drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and other necessary computer applications.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from Team Members, regulatory agencies, or members of the staff.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational or technical certifications in related fields.
- Two years' work experience in related field.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- The Team Member will be required to stand for the duration of the shift.
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The Team Member may be required to work in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, flashing lights, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
