Location: Pascagoula, MS Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in blasting and painting, particularly with marine coatings. You will be responsible for performing blasting and painting in accordance with specified contract requirements, ensuring the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform all blasting and painting functions utilizing marine coatings. Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by contract specifications. Understand and apply blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements. Execute blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Demonstrate proficiency in hooking up airlines to the manifold and spraying in horizontal, vertical, and side-to-side positions. Operate sandblasting equipment and explain the use of each part of the blast equipment. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a painter/blaster. Proven ability to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing various applications. Strong understanding of blasting and painting specifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with marine coatings and related industry standards. Additional Requirements: Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug screen. Background check required.
