To learn more about Rig Technologies products and services, please visit us at RESPONSIBILITIES* Perform surface preparation activities, which include masking and sanding of product prior to painting or sandblasting.* Perform blasting and spray-painting functions and preparatory undercoating.* Clean and maintain paint shop equipment such as blast pots, air lines, fluid lines, paint pots, paint guns and respirators.* Ensure coatings are painted according to NOV paint specifications or customer requirements.* Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.* Maintain and change paint booth media filters and surface protectant coatings as needed.* Properly contain hazardous waste generated from normal paint shop operations.* Under general supervision, spray paint small and large component parts prior to assembly and final coating.* Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.* Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.* Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS* High school diploma or GED* 2+ years' experience in industrial blasting and paintingJOB REQUIREMENTS* Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.* Must be willing & able to work overtime as required - Overtime may be required during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.* Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.* Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.* Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.* Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.* Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.* Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.* Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.COMPETITIVE BENEFITS (visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)* 401(k) Retirement Plan - NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.* Competitive medical plans that cover your entire family (yourself, eligible spouse, and eligible children) as of your first date of hire for as little as $139 per pay period (bi-weekly.)* FREE preventative medical and dental care for the entire family (when enrolled in an NOV medical/dental plan and seeing an in-network physician).* FREE Basic Life and AD&D insurance (for full-time employees).* All regular full-time employees start with 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (prorated based on start date).* All regular full-time employees receive up to 11 paid holidays per year.
