StudioBuilt homes are constructed at Amherst's housing studio in Cuero, Texas as well as partner studios across the Southeast and then installed on site. At full capacity, the Cuero facility will create over 250 manufacturing jobs, making Amherst the third largest employer in the area. The StudioBuilt team is comprised of experienced individuals from all trades, working to continuously improve the production process.We are looking for professionals with experience in residential painting within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' experience on construction sites or working in a component or Modular manufacturing facility. This is the opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of a new venture in Modular housing in our CUERO TX factoryEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Plant and Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.Prep and fill and sand area for paintingPaint areas using Spray guns, Rollers, and Brush for best finishAbility to paint level 4 smooth finish and all trimClean and maintain all equipmentWork in a safe mannerComplete other responsibilities as assignedRequired Skills and Experience High School Diploma4-year relevant work experienceAble to follow instructions, written and verbalFollow all safety practicesAble to work in a manufacturing environment including the physical demands of the jobAble to lift 75lbsAble to stand for 8+ hours to accomplish work tasksAble to use the tools and processes for the roleRequires good manual dexterity (hand, arm, and multi-limb coordination)Able to work overtime as scheduledWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the Team Member may be exposed to noise, wood products, plastics, lubricants moving mechanical parts and vibration.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
