Performs paint application on railcar component assembly operations DUTIES & RESPONSIBIITIES: Must have basic mechanical knowledge for dismantling equipment. Must have knowledge of surface preparation (sanding, feathering edges, body filler and fiberglass repairs). Must be knowledgeable of painting techniques with the use of all spray guns. Must have ability to clean, prep and mark all equipment and parts to be painted. Must have ability to mix and thin all paints and coating according to specifications. Must have ability to layout and install decals. Some supervision required for all tasks REQUIRED TRAINING: ISO Hazardous Communication/MSDS PPE Respirator Use Annual Spriometry Testing Drawing Reading Basic Hand Tools Job Safety Pay: $20-22/hr M1
