**Position Summary:**
Bush Hog is one of the most recognized and successful names in the Agricultural Market. The Painter II is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention. The Painter II will engage in a specific part of the powder coating process of Bush Hog products that are essential for assembly. Works in one area of the powder coating line (powder coating, oven curing or shot blast) and do minimal work in the other areas. Ensure that the correct parts are in the correct sequence throughout the conveyor system and that they are safely secured and brought down. Work under the general demand of the assembly department through work orders. Operate heavy machinery for the purpose of safely transporting products from and to the powder coating area.

**Essential Functions of the Job:**
+ Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings.
+ Inspect parts and cutters to ensure parts meet a certain standard of quality.
+ Complete painting processes by spray painting untouched areas left during the powder coating phase.
+ Clean and maintain all necessary equipment for future use.
+ Operate and service/maintain shot blaster and washer.
+ Ensure quality control in all parts before and after the painting process.
+ Transport heavy materials through the use of Dollies, Pallet Jacks and other equipment.
+ Ensure proper use of the burn off oven when needed.
+ Train new and current employees when required.
+ Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):**
+ Must have basic knowledge of powder coating process lines (includes paint coating, cure ovens and shot blasters).
+ Capable of performing standard measurements using geometric tools (Tape Measure, Protractor, etc.).
+ Basic math and reading skills needed.
+ Minimum dexterity required for use of hand and power tool.
+ Ability to operate under pressure.
+ Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance.
+ Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Education and Experience:**
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ 1+ years experience.
