Prepare the surface to be painted2. Select proper painting supplies and equipment3. Cares for equipment used on job site.4. Protect existing facilities as painting is being done5. Keep paint foreman informed on all projects and work orders stratus6. Other duties as assigned by Plumbing Foreman or Director of Facility DesignQualification RequirementsMinimum Certification/Education:1. The ability to read and write2. The ability to follow written and oral directions3. High School education or equivalent4. Maintain valid Texas Driver's licenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:1. The ability to perform duties at unusual heights2. Ability to distinguish basic colors3. Repeated bending and climbing4. Moderate liftingMinimum Experience:1. Prior job experience as a painterEQUIPMENT USED:1. Paint2. Ladder (Stilts on occasion)3. Scrapper4. Spray gun5. Air compressors/spray equipment6. Caulking compoundsPhysical Demands:1. Lifting2.
