We have an opening for a full-time Painter/Blade Utility Operator second shift 2:30 - 11:00 pm with overtime and occasional Saturdays.
Job Description:This position is responsible for utilizing tooling, equipment and materials for preparation and painting of diamond blades and core bits. This position is critical for production of segmented diamond blades and core bits.
Job Requirements:Preparation of paint for use in pneumatic paint guns. Loading and unloading of paint line. Painting products. Start up and daily maintenance of part washer. Daily maintenance of central paint delivery system. Disposal of paint wastes. Follow company polices to ensure compliance of EPA and environmental guidelines and OSHA Safety and Health Regulations in the painting process. Organization and selection of proper tooling to fulfill work requirements. Maintain general knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing equipment operation. Cleaning of equipment for preparation of subsequent orders.
Measurements:Perform visual in-process quality checks for cosmetic appearance of the blades and marking information. Record quality and order completion data.
Experience:Previous experience preferred.
Functional Skills and Knowledge:Working and strong knowledge of basic industrial math, metric system of weights and measurements, diamond tool design elements and paint applications. Must wear N95 dust mask and PPE in compliance with OSHA Regulations. Frequently lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasionally push/pull up to 20 lbs.
