Qualified candidates will have/be: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting (preferred).At least 1 year experience as a Painter or Stainer or similar transferable experience in a related field.Proficient in the use of brushes, rollers and spray guns.Advanced knowledge of paint types, mixing ratios and matching colors, application techniques (streak avoidance), mixing and matching stains, and the technical precision to achieve uniform coverage, history of exceptional quality results.Familiar with a variety of wood types, stains, and finishing techniques; knowledgeable about factors that affect product quality outcomes such as temperature, humidity, and wood grain.Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.Who we are:Headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Moehl Millwork, Inc. is an employee-owned wholesale distributor of high-end residential and commercial millwork products, proudly serving lumber dealers throughout Iowa and contractors in the Des Moines metro area.
