Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to ServicePainterThe Maintenance Painter 1 is responsible to maintain surface finishes according to work orders, repair surfaces, install and remove promotional items, and maintain and clean paint materials.
Maintains Surface FinishesPrepare surfaces for finishing. Apply paint and stain according to the Materials Technical Data and Safety Data Sheets. Complete all assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
Repair SurfacesTape and fill cracks, holes, divots and joints using spackle, caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers. Strip off old wall paper or paint as needed.
Install Promotional ItemsAssist in installing and removing various promotional items on the ministry billboards and banners on and off campus. Safely operate various lifts as needed.
Maintain and Clean MaterialsClean and maintain all painting equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers. Organize the paint shop. Prepare and protect various job sites before completing projects.FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt)
EducationHS (Required), Vocational/Trade Degree
Work Experience1+ years in apprenticeship, 1+ years in the painting and coating trade
Physical Requirements and SkillsAbility to lift 50+ pounds, Hand Tools, Power Tools, State driver's license
