Job Title: Painter
Department: Ballpark Operations
Reports To: Director of Maintenance
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Purpose: Repair, stain, and paint surfaces in all buildings within the Great American Ball Park footprint, as well as other Reds properties including the Reds Youth Academy in Roselawn.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Scraping, spackling, taping, mixing stain or paint according to manufacturer formulas, painting areas as assigned, while protecting areas from paint, dust, and debris
- Patching plaster and drywall walls
- Store and organizing paint stock
- Repair and replace wallpaper
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience, Education and Licensure: - High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a commercial setting
Special Requirement: - Must be physically capable of moving about on construction work sites and under adverse field conditions
- Must be able to work from heights on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds

- Lift
Physical Demands: - A willingness to work long hours and a variable schedule including weekends and holidays especially during MLB season on game days and large concert days
- Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor areas
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions; The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
