Description
The Arc Mid-Hudson, one of the largest employers in the Hudson Valley, with over 1500 employees across Ulster, Greene, Columbia, and Putnam counties, has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician - providing coverage in Putnam County.
The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of three years of experience in a skilled building/construction trade or facility maintenance, including knowledge of painting and comfortable with climbing and working in high spaces. Knowledge of the New York State building code and of common practices, tools, terminology and safety precautions is required. Must also have the ability to work with various latex and oil-based finishes and solvents.
A NYS Driver's License and acceptable driving record are a must. Successful applicants will have the ability to work without close supervision, adapt to a wide variety of conditions and have pride in their workmanship. Overtime may be required at times, especially during inclement weather. HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/8:00 am to 4:00 pm/must be flexible
SALARY:$19.81 - $21.80 per hour

+ Must possess a valid New York State driver's license and a driving record acceptable to The Arc Mid-Hudson, their insurance company, and any other regulatory agencies.
