Charts Painters are critical to preparing and painting cryogenic units using different preparation materials and spraying equipment as one of the final steps in the manufacturing process.
Charts New Prague location currently has an opening for a painter on the night shift.
Monday - Thursday; 2:45pm - 12:45am
Some overtime is required.
**_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be_**
+ Mix paint to designated specifications
+ Prep units prior to painting using a blasting booth and other hand preparation methods
+ Prime units prior to painting using a spray paint application
+ Set and maintain paint spray regulators
+ Perform necessary touchups when needed
+ Perform maintenance on booth and paint sprayer
+ Clean paint spraying equipment
+ Adhere to painting specifications
+ Adhere to printed work instruction manuals
+ Observe and practice safety procedures and policies, participate in department safety meetings and initiatives
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manage
**_Your Education Should Be_**
+ High school diploma or GED
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require_**
+ Exposure to metal cutting, welding odors, welding flash and incidental acceptable limits of x-ray radiation.
+ Possible exposure to chemical odors and temperature extremes.
+ Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and occasional crawling.
+ Frequent lifting up to 40 pounds, infrequent lifting of 40-60 pounds, with assistance.
+ Frequent pushing, pullingand handling of materials.
+ Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions.
**_Your Professional Experience Should Be_**
+ Previous paint experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Previous experience with paint repairs and touchup
+ Previous experience repairing paint equipment
