We are working on behalf of a client specializing in delivering high-end visual and branding solutions through custom fabrication and installation. Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Painter to join our client's production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all painting activities related to the fabrication of custom projects, including displays, signs, and branded environments. This role requires someone who can handle all aspects of a modern painting operation, from preparation through final application, ensuring high-quality finishes for a wide range of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from design specifications and project drawings to ensure precise paint application.
  • Oversee all painting operations, including surface preparation, mixing custom colors, and applying paint finishes to a variety of materials such as wood, plastic, metal, and acrylic.
  • Collaborate closely with the production and design teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Perform color matching and apply paint on everything from small samples to large-scale installations.
  • Maintain and operate state-of-the-art painting equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any challenges that arise during the painting process.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining strict attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of professional painting experience in a fabrication or custom manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in modern painting systems and equipment, including experience with VOC-compliant paint systems.
  • Skilled in color matching, custom paint mixing, and applying finishes to a variety of substrates.
  • Strong ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
  • A collaborative team player who works well with designers, managers, and craftsmen.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
