Job SummaryAssembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes work area setupFits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standardsOperates hand tools as required to complete the assembly processStacks completed products according to established procedures, and may cover, label, and band components of the finished productEnsures work area is safe, clean, organized, and that equipment is safe to operateCompletes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concernsMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentMaintains production records as requiredChecks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standardsPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetingsPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED preferred but not requiredNo minimum experience is required; however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferredWorking knowledge of basic mathMust be at least 18 years of ageThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
