Volt is immediately hiring for a Pallet Jack Operator for a local leading manufacturing company in Otay Mesa, CA - San Diego. As a Pallet Jack Operator you will:
- Unload and clean trailers
- Sorting, stacking material returned from stores
- Loading sorted pallets and recyclables on to vendor trailers
- Performing all duties in a safe manner
- Responsible for sanitation of work area including dock and door pits
- Keep work area clean
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
This is a
full time Temp-to-Hire opportunity The ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to work in outdoor work environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with company members
- Ability to comprehend and follow directions
- Willing to work any days and hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work safely in a fast paced warehouse environment
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-430pm; overtime available
