Seeking a Palletizing Technician for a local Franklin, WI, Food Production company.12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule 6pm - 6am$24.50 per hourTemp-to-hire opportunity!Job Summary:A Palletizer is responsible for setting up and operating the automatic palletizer, stretch-wrap machine, and related equipmentTakes full pallets, stretches them, and puts them on the truck.Responsibilities:-Set up and configure palletizing equipment according to product specifications, including pallet size, stacking patterns, and weight distribution.-Operate palletizing machinery to efficiently stack and arrange products onto pallets in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.-Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspection, to ensure optimal performance and prevent equipment downtime.-Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed, collaborating with maintenance personnel and equipment manufacturers when necessary.-Monitor the palletizing process to ensure proper alignment, positioning, and stacking of products, making adjustments as required to maintain accuracy and efficiency.-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.-Document equipment settings, maintenance activities, and production metrics accurately and comprehensively.Previous packaging machine operator experience or robotic palletization experience requiredThe ideal candidate will: Have a good sense of teamworkTake pride in running their machine wellHave good problem solving and the ability to do minor troubleshootingHave high energy We look forward to working with youAPPLY TODAY!
