Job Title: Panel Builder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and wiring control panels, using basic hand tools, and ensuring the quality of panels through various testing equipment. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
Responsibilities - Build and wire control panels
- Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters
- Use test equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to check the quality of panels
- Fabricate and wire control panels
- Compare wiring and location of control devices
- Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections
- Test wiring circuits for malfunctions and locate root cause
- Label each wire in the panel
Essential Skills - Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Experience with wiring control panels
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and assembly
- Experience with HVAC and maintenance technician tasks
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Knowledge of panel shop processes, quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Experience in electrical work and control panels
- Proactive approach and ability to stay busy by seeking additional tasks
