Education / Experience:High school diploma or GED required. Advanced education/coursework and/or training in the implementation of instructional methodologies desirable.Experience or formal training equal to one (1) year working within child centered environment preferred.State Requirements Include: AA Degree or Verifiable Two (2) years post-secondary education, or 48 semester units, or Proficiency Certificate (NCLB)Condition of employment:Successful completion of District-Sponsored Certification training as Direct Instruction Instructor within 4 months of date of hire.Salary Level: 30 - Classified Salary ScheduleRequirements / QualificationsVan Allen Elementary School 4.25 hours a day Monday - Friday Must meet highly qualified instructional assistant requirements: AA Degree; or 48 units; or comparable proficiency test The position can be combined with .5 hr yard duty position currently available at Van Allen.Current EUSD Employees, please submit a letter of interest to Cindy Sipes at the District Office.
