Ascendo Resources is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join the lease renewal team of a leading real estate investment firm in Great Neck, NY. In this role, you will be working alongside 3 senior professionals (Senior Paralegal and Attorneys) and supporting the team in managing lease agreements, renewals, and ensuring legal compliance. You will also collaborate with 2 other paralegals in the department, contributing to efficient lease administration and dispute resolution.
Job Title: Paralegal Lease Renewal
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
Location: On-site, Great Neck, NY
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing lease renewal agreements and amendments.
- Ensure lease compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Communicate with counsel, tenants, and property managers on lease terms, renewal conditions, and agreements.
- Maintain accurate records and legal documents related to leases and renewals.
- Support in legal research, risk assessments, and handling disputes regarding lease terms.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of paralegal experience, particularly in real estate law.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Experience in real estate management and lease renewal processes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelors degree required; paralegal certification is a plus.
