Position Overview: The firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and the beverage industry and a strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and client interaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
- Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and coordinate schedules.
- Manage case calendars and deadlines, ensuring timely filing of documents.
- Assist with e-discovery and document review processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
