JSL is seeking a Paralegal for our DC government client to fill a hybrid remote role (3 days in-office/2 days remote). Paralegals will be responsible for summarizing discovery and depositions, oral arguments and hearing for attorneys preparing motions and briefs, FOIA requests, exhibit cross-references, handling congressional inquiries as well as conducting more complex legal research, conduct witness interviews. . Requires thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS/NEXIS, CLEAR, Westlaw, Concordance or Recommind; experience documenting Table of Authorities (TOA), Table of Contents (TOC) and Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO). Role also requires knowledge of e-discovery procedures and resources Qualified candidates must have 2+ years' experience including 1 year of litigation and trial support experience.
