Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Research Compliance and Export Control Administrator for a direct hire opportunity with a Federal Client in the Dayton, OH area. The Senior UDRI Research Compliance and Export Control Administrator is responsible for: • The direction, oversight and administration of UDRI's Research Ethics program, including directing training activities and monitoring the UDRI Ethics Hotline. • The direction, oversight and administration of the University's export control compliance program including reviewing contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and other documents to define export control requirements; promoting export control awareness through training and policy development; and staying current on federal rule changes that impact International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other governmental regulations. • Administration of UDRI's conflict of interest disclosure compliance and assisting in the development of conflict-of-interest management plans, as required, for UDRI employees • The development and delivery of research compliance training • Providing timely advice on various compliance and ethical issues and questions related to UDRI sponsored research • Collaborating with Research Institute leadership, the Office for Academic Research, and other University administrators to ensure that UDRI research activities are in compliance with government regulations and University policies • Working with the University's Legal Affairs and Division of Audit, Risk & Compliance where necessary to support independent investigations, audits or other matters related to UDRI sponsored research and research ethics matters
